Rescue:
Pet Patrol became aware of a farm that had previously been brought under control for cat
overpopulation, but new cats had since arrived. Among them were Janessa and Jackson. The
woman who cared for them provided food, water, and shelter year round,
but she was preparing to
move closer to the city and didn’t want to leave the cats behind. Janessa and Jackson were
brought into the sanctuary, initially a little unsure of their new surroundings. It didn’t take long before
they relaxed, tails held high, showing how happy they were to finally be safe.
Personality:
Janessa is a gentle girl who simply needs a little time to feel safe in new surroundings. Shy at first, she blossoms with patience and kindness, quickly learning to trust the people who love her. Once you’ve earned her confidence, Janessa adores gentle pets and attention, and she’ll even climb into bed with you when she’s in the mood for a little extra affection. She enjoys spending her days perched by the window, happily watching birds flutter by and people pass outside, and loves batting around small toys she can carry from place to place. Janessa would thrive in a quieter home without a lot of sudden noise or commotion, where her sweet, affectionate personality can truly shine. She is ready to be adopted into her forever home—one that will welcome her into the family and keep her safely indoors.
