Rescue:
India’s life on the farm had never been easy. The family who once lived there fed her occasionally,
sometimes letting her inside, but she was never truly part of the household. When they moved,
India was left behind. For two years she stayed near the property, fed by the daughter of the farm’s
owners who stopped after school to check on her. As winter approached, it became clear India
couldn’t be left outside any longer. Pet Patrol was contacted, and the photo sent showed a
heartbreaking sight: India sitting sadly at the base of a telephone pole, alone and waiting. Now
safe, she no longer has to endure neglect or the cold.
Personality:
India is a very social and chatty lady who loves being with her people. She happily shadows you
around the house, chatting away as if to remind you that she’s there—and if you forget to pet her,
she’ll politely (or not so politely!) tell you it’s time for attention. Affectionate and loving in return,
India thrives on companionship and will welcome you home at the door or greet you first thing in the
morning with her soft meows. She isn’t too interested in toys, preferring instead to spend her days
gazing out the window and watching the world go by. India is a gentle, loyal companion who will
brighten your home with her chatter, her affection, and her constant presence by your side. India is
ready to be adopted into her forever home. One that will welcome her into the family and keep her
safely indoors.
