Rescue:
These sweet kittens have quite the story! They were born to a mama cat in Woodstock while her
owner was in hospice. After his passing, the family was overwhelmed. His wife wanted to keep the
mama and planned to have her spayed, while the kittens needed a safe, loving space to grow. A
kind niece stepped in, bringing the mama and her eight kittens into her home. She lovingly raised
them for 9–10 weeks, giving them full access to the house, plenty of socialization, and all the care a
tiny kitten could need. They learned to play, explore, and enjoy life as happy, confident little cats.
When it was time for more support, she reached out to rescues across the area, but no one could
help. Thankfully, Pet Patrol was able to welcome them, and these kittens have been thriving ever
since! All are healthy, playful, and ready for their forever homes. They’re proof that a little love and
patience goes a long way.
Personality
Hawkesbury is a brave boy who isn’t afraid of anything—he knows people mean love and attention!
He’s always the first to come running when you walk into the room, and the moment you sit down
he’s curled up in your lap, purring away. Hawk loves playing and wrestling with his brothers, but
when it’s time to snooze, he prefers a cozy bed of his own. Adventurous by nature, he eagerly
explores every corner, poking his head around as if each new discovery is a grand adventure. He’s
also a wonderful little conversationalist, chirping happily to greet his humans in the morning and
“telling you about his day.” He would love to be adopted with one of his brothers—Houston,
Humboldt, or Hayden—or into a home with another kitty friend to keep him company. Hawkesbury
is ready to be adopted into his forever home. One that will welcome him into the family and keep
him safely indoors.
