Rescue:
For the past couple of years, Jacquie has called a storage unit facility along a busy road her home.
Surrounded by asphalt, exposed to sweltering heat and bitter cold, she raised litter after litter of
kittens beneath dumpsters and pallets, with only the occasional kindness of a security guard who
offered food, water, and shelter on the coldest nights. It was no life for a young cat—just two years
old and already weathered by the streets. When Pet Patrol was alerted that Jacquie had another
litter, our volunteers knew it was time. One by one, her kittens were safely trapped and brought
indoors, leaving behind the harsh concrete landscape and dangers of coyote filled nights. Jacquie
was brought in shortly after, and her gentle spirit quickly emerged. She’s now safe, warm, and
beginning to experience what love and comfort really feel like.
Personality:
Jacquie is a very pretty girl with a heart just as lovely as her looks. She adores attention and will
happily curl up beside you for naps multiple times a day, purring as loudly as she can to show her
contentment. Always eager for love, she leans into pets and cuddles, soaking up every bit of
affection. Jacquie enjoys playing with toys, especially ones that dangle in front of her, where she
can practice her swats and pounces. She also loves gazing out the window, keeping a close eye on
birds, bugs, and anything else happening outside. Cute, smart, and endlessly affectionate, Jacquie
will quickly win your heart with her sweet nature. Jacquie is ready to be adopted into her forever
home. One that will welcome her into the family and keep her safely indoors.
