Rescue:

Noor & Shamus’ journey began in another rescue before they were adopted into a family home where they lived for several years. Unfortunately, although their new dad tried his best to manage severe allergies with medication, it became too difficult for him to continue. These siblings had clearly been loved—they were used to being petted, brushed, and cuddled—but they were also a little jumpy with fast movements and loud noises. Through it all, one thing has remained constant: their strong bond with each other. Playful and active, Noor & Shamus love watching the world outside and would thrive with access to a cat enclosure where they could enjoy the fresh air safely. Their trip to Pet Patrol was a bit of a drive, but they’ve settled beautifully into the sanctuary, showing just how resilient and loving they truly are. Together, they are ready for the next chapter—a forever home where they can stay side by side, cherished and safe.

Personality:

Noor & Shamus are a stunning brother and sister duo with a deep bond that makes them the perfect pair. Both are friendly, social, and affectionate cats who love being with their people and are easy to pick up and cuddle. Shamus is a distinguished boy with extra toes on his front paws—a special polydactyl feature that makes him even more unique—while Noor is a gorgeous classic orange tabby with wide, brilliant stripes. They are playful and curious, enjoying all kinds of toys, and they share an interest in watching the outdoors from the safety of a cat enclosure, something they would love in their new home. Raised in a family with older children, they are adaptable and they also do well with other cats. Always together—whether chasing toys or curling up for a nap—Noor and Shamus are ready to bring double the love, joy, and companionship into their forever home. One that will welcome them into the family and keep them safely indoors.
