Rescue:
Mui was found in a woodshed, calmly caring for her newborn kittens in a nest of pink insulation. A
man was drawn in by the cry of a kitten that had fallen deep into the insulation, too far for Mui to
reach. He gently rescued the baby and offered Mui a soft, safe carrier tucked into her chosen spot.
She accepted it right away, purring and settling in with her babies. Living near farmland and a
neighbouring barn with dozens of cats, Mui had clearly been seeking a quiet, safe space to give
birth. From the start, she was sweet, friendly, and trusting, just a loving mama looking for help.
Now in Pet Patrol’s care, Mui and her kittens are safe, warm, and ready for brighter days ahead.
Personality:
Mui has officially retired from motherhood after raising four kittens with the calm grace of a
seasoned queen. Now, it’s her turn to soak up the love. Named after the Japanese word for
“acceptance of the inevitable,” Mui is the embodiment of quiet wisdom and gentle sass. She doesn’t
beg or demand ; she simply settles beside her food or water bowls and gives you the look. It’s
subtle, powerful, and somehow always gets results. Mui is a peaceful presence in the home,
content to nap nearby, keep watch from her perch, and remind you that she’s royalty, thank you
very much. Mui is ready to be adopted into her forever home. One that will welcome her into the
family and keep her safely indoors.
