Rescue:
A woman left a message on the Pet Patrol line in tears saying that she had rescued a
mother cat, who had kittens. She has had to bottle feed and raise the kittens herself because
five days after the cat gave birth she had a stroke. This poor girl was now walking in
circles, blind, didn’t know what the litter box was and felt that she is always hungry. The
woman is on a very limited income and has two little dogs, and feeling very overwhelmed
with the situation. But she did the right thing in rescuing the mother cat, and taking her to the
vet for a diagnosis, otherwise these kittens never would have survived. Her prognosis was
not good. The vet said the mother cat would not improve and that she was suffering. She
did not survive. Pet Patrol took all the kittens in (Hank, Halley, Honey, Huey and,Hermioni),
who are all healthy, happy and well-adjusted little cats, because they have known nothing
but love and affection from the woman. They are ready for their new family now.
Personality:
Cute and curious is the best way to describe these kittens. They are fun loving, inquisitive
and very affectionate. They all like to be held and cradled in your arms, and they have no
issue with being picked up. They have been raised with two little chihuahua dogs who were
good with them. The kittens are happy with having a sibling as a playmate, and of course
toys, toys, toys. They especially like the cat tunnel and kitty climber. Hank is ready to be
adopted into his forever home. One that will welcome him and possibly a sibling into the
family and keep him safely indoors.
