Rescue:
Shyla came into Pet Patrol’s care under urgent circumstances. A woman who runs a small cat
rescue in a rural town had reached out for help. Years earlier, she had assisted an elderly woman
living alone in reducing a large colony of cats on her property. Known for feeding any animal in
need, the kindhearted
woman had unintentionally created a safe haven for strays. But without
ongoing spaying or neutering, the population began to grow once again. Shyla, visibly pregnant,
was one of the cats still living on the property. With cooler weather settling in and growing concerns
about her safety, the decision was made to bring her into care as soon as possible. She arrived at
Pet Patrol ready to leave her days of uncertainty behind. Now safe and warm, Shyla is adjusting to
indoor life with gentle support and care. Her quiet strength and resilience are already shining
through, and she’s finally getting the comfort and security every cat deserves.
Personality:
Shyla is a beautiful, petite little lady with a calm and loving nature. She’s a wonderful mama and a
gentle soul who thrives in quiet, caring company. Shyla is always the first to greet you at the door,
rubbing against your legs with soft purrs to say hello. While she’s still a bit unsure about being
picked up, she absolutely loves being petted and will happily curl up beside you if you sit on the
floor with her. With time and patience, her affectionate side continues to grow, and she’s sure to be
a loyal and sweet companion. Shyla is ready to be adopted into her forever home. One that will
welcome her into the family and keep her safely indoors.
