Rescue:
Quincy, a tabby and white cat, first appeared one day on the back deck of a kind family’s home.
They set out food for him, and he returned regularly, always showing up for meals. While he was
nervous, he didn’t mind being watched through the door as he ate, clear signs that he was not
feral. Over time, it became obvious that Quincy didn’t have a home. Wanting to help, the family set
up a humane trap, using smelly canned cat food to coax him inside. It didn’t take long. Although he
was frightened at first, Quincy quickly settled down once safely indoors. He was then brought into
Pet Patrol’s care, where he could begin his journey toward a better life, one filled with safety,
warmth, and the companionship he had clearly been missing.
Personality:
Quincy is a lovely, gentle cat who has truly blossomed in our care. He’s friendly with people and
gets along well with other cats, making him a wonderful addition to a multicat
home. Quincy loves
to be part of the action; whether he’s watching the world go by from a sunny window, batting
around his toys, or following you around the house with quiet curiosity. He enjoys being cuddled
and cradled, and he’s happy to be picked up for some snuggle time. It’s clear that Quincy was once
a cherished pet, and now he’s ready to find a home that will love him just as much. Quincy is ready
to be adopted into his forever home. One that will welcome him into the family and keep him safely
indoors.
