Rescue:

Dixie and her kittens are what we like to call a pot of gold here at Pet Patrol; an entire family of
stunning orange cats, not even a speck of white among them. For a few years, Dixie lived outdoors
near a small town, hanging around the same house. Locals looked out for her, and when she had
her first litter, a small rescue stepped in to help once the kittens were around 12 weeks old. But
Dixie herself remained elusive, never quite close enough to catch. That changed with her second
litter. With patience, time, and a humane trap, Dixie and all her kittens were finally brought to safety.
Now, she and her babies—Davian, Daphne, Dalton, Dani, and Devyn—are thriving in Pet Patrol’s
care. Safe, warm, and no longer at the mercy of the elements, they’ve settled into indoor life
beautifully.

Personality:

Davian is the most vocal of the group and completely smitten with people. He’ll flop at your feet,
show off his belly, and meow until you give him attention, and once you do, he purrs nonstop. He’s
sweet, gentle, and happy to play with everyone, but also content entertaining himself with a spring
or mouse toy. He’s great at being handled and loves to be involved in whatever you’re doing
(unless it’s a car ride, he’s not a fan). Davian must be adopted with a playful companion, and while
he gets along with everyone, he’s especially close with Dani and Dalton. Davian is ready to be
adopted into his forever home. One that will welcome him into the family and keep him safely
indoors.
