Piper

Rescue:

Piper’s journey to safety is one of heartbreak and quiet strength. At just one year old, she was
abandoned in the worst way, trapped inside an apartment with a large dog after her owners were
evicted. The two were left completely alone, with no food, no care, and no way out. By the time help
arrived, Piper was starving, terrified, and hiding from the world. A brave friend intervened, breaking
into the apartment to rescue her. They found her curled up in fear—skinny, trembling, and unsure if
she could trust again. There are no words to fully explain what Piper endured in that apartment,
just silence, hunger, and fear. It’s clear she was not cared for and never shown the love she
deserved. But despite it all, Piper is still kind, still gentle, and still open to love. She’s slowly learning
that people can be good, and that she’s finally safe.

Personality:

Piper is a sweet and soulful girl with a heart that blooms once you’ve earned her trust. She may
seem a little reserved at first, quietly watching from her cozy perch or peeking around corners with
wide, curious eyes, but give her time and she’ll reward you with gentle affection and endless
charm. Piper loves head and chin rubs and will lean into your hand the moment she feels safe.
She’s also a chatty little lady, often meowing back at you as if you’re deep in conversation.
While she enjoys lounging in the sun and quietly observing the world around her, Piper comes alive
when her favourite string toy comes out; darting, pouncing, and showing off her playful side. She’s
the perfect blend of calm companion and quirky character, and she’s just waiting for the right
person to see her for the treasure she is. Piper is ready to be adopted into her forever home. One
that will welcome her into the family and keep her safely indoors.
