Rescue:
A family had just moved into their new house in December and were busy putting things
away and making it their own. They had a lot of boxes stored in the garage until they could
organize the furniture and finally put everything away. One day when the woman opened
the door from the house into the garage she caught a glimpse of a little cat scooting across the
floor. It disappeared behind a stack of chairs and a few suitcases. Startled, she wondered
where the cat came from, then realized it had squeezed underneath the mostly closed garage
door. Eventually they heard the mews of tiny kittens and saw momma Cricket scramble
up the shelves to a small hold in the ceiling. She had given birth to a litter of kittens up
there (Tiny, Taro,Tetley and Timothy). Once the babies reached six weeks of age, they
were found running around the garage having fun, and that is when the couple began feeding
them. A few weeks later they brought Cricket into Pet Patrol care and the kittens a little
while later. All are safe and sound now.
Personality:
Tiny is just that, very tiny. She loves pets while in her cozy bed or a cubby, and luckily a lap
counts as a safe place/shelter. She has quite an audible purr expressing her happiness.
She can be found napping in the laundry basket or cozied up with you in a comforter (she
loves soft blankets). Tiny is curious and likes to explore the house, new things brought in and
the window view is like kitty TV. She is playful and excited about toys and chasing her
brother Taro as well. They are like two peas in a pod. Although she was timid initially, she
is gentle and sweet, a girly girl and adorable. Tiny is ready to be adopted into her forever
home with her brother Taro. One that will welcome them into the family and keep them
safely indoors.
