Rescue:

An email was sent to Pet Patrol by a man who’s English was still developing. New to the
country he and his family lived in a townhouse complex and had come across a mother cat
and her five kittens living behind a dumpster. The kittens were about six weeks of age, and
starting to wander around. Needless to say, the mother cat was concerned and was becoming malnourished because she couldn’t leave them to find food. It is unknown where she came
from originally, but all the cats were clean and the kittens were easy to handle – definitely from
someone’s home and they clearly had been abandoned. Momma Jiji is sweet and friendly.
She was very relieved to have been brought indoors where her kittens would be safe and all
were well fed. The man was thinking of keeping them, but six cats was a lot to take on all at
once and his son was allergic so that is when Pet Patrol was approached. Soon a volunteer
was on their way to rescue them all and bring the J litter into care.

Personality:

Jak and Jada: This brother and sister duo are quite bonded and they are often found together
in the big fluffy cat bed. They like to chase each other up and down the cat trees, or racing
from room to room. Jada the smallest of the litter will take on any one of them in a wrestling
match. Jak prefers to sit and watch his siblings wrestle. They both love to play with the wire
dancer, or drag the fluffy toys all around the house. Once playtime is over they will seek out the
nearest person. and cuddle up on their lap for a nice long sleep. Both of these kittens are
cuddly, cute, and irresistible. They would make a great addition to their forever home. One
that will welcome them into the family and keep them safely indoors
