Kami

Rescue:

Momma Kari had been visiting the porch of a Pet Patrol volunteer along with an orange cat from the
neighbourhood, but both usually kept their distance. Then one day, everything changed. Kari
appeared outside the front window crying to come in and even tried to slip through the door as the
volunteer stepped outside. It was clear she was asking for help, and she was brought into Pet
Patrol’s care. Once at the sanctuary, we quickly realized Kari had been nursing kittens—and
somewhere nearby, four tiny babies were waiting for their mama. Our volunteer immediately
reached out through local social media, and neighbours quickly helped locate the kittens beneath a
skid beside a woodpile in a nearby yard. At barely three weeks old, they were gathered up and
safely reunited with Kari. The little family had somehow made it through bitterly cold nights and a
tremendous rainstorm outdoors, but thanks to a caring and supportive neighbourhood, Kari and her
babies are now safe and have a much brighter future ahead

Personality:

Kami is a sweet, softspoken little girl who knows exactly how to ask for affection. She will sit
patiently in front of her people and offer a gentle little meow, hoping they’ll scoop her up for a
cuddle. But don’t let her quiet nature fool you—Kami has a wonderfully busy side too! She loves
wrestling with her brothers, chasing the red laser light, playing with all kinds of toys, and climbing
the cat tree. Curious about everything, she enjoys investigating every hidden corner of the house
and can often be found returning from her adventures with cobwebs tangled in her whiskers. With
her perfect combination of cuddles and curiosity, Kami is ready to be adopted into her forever home
—one that will welcome her into the family and keep her safely indoors.
