Rescue:

Whisper lived on a traditional farm where a young woman does her best to care for the cats and
reaches out to Pet Patrol whenever one becomes sick and needs more help than she can provide.
Without a consistently warm, clean environment, respiratory and eye infections can easily become
a problem, and Whisper’s left eye had become particularly concerning. Her third eyelid had risen to
cover almost the entire eye, and although the young woman faithfully applied medication she was
able to obtain, it wasn’t improving. When Whisper also developed a respiratory infection, she knew
this sweet girl needed veterinary care and asked Pet Patrol for help. Once safely in care, Whisper
responded well to treatment. Her eyelid remains slightly droopy, but the third eyelid no longer
obstructs her vision, and she is now healthy, comfortable, and enjoying a much different life
indoors.

Personality:

Whisper is such a dear little cat who has thoroughly embraced everything about indoor life. Fun,
affectionate, and endlessly curious, she wants to investigate whatever her people are doing and
make sure she isn’t missing anything interesting. She loves having a clean, comfortable home
where she can explore safely and settle by the window to watch the world outside. Whisper is
wonderfully social and has done well with both other cats and children visiting the sanctuary,
making her an easy little companion to have around. Loving, curious, and full of personality,
Whisper is ready to be adopted into her forever home—one that will welcome her into the family
and keep her safely indoors.
