Rescue:
Jinty came from a traditional farm with cattle, crops, and a growing population of cats. The property also overlooks a public walking trail, and cats were regularly seen both around the farm and wandering along the trail. With more cats than the farmer could reasonably manage, he was trying to bring the population under control and reached out for help. Pet Patrol was able to assist with having another female cat spayed so she would no longer contribute to the cycle of kittens being born, while little Jinty was given the opportunity for a different future. She came into Pet Patrol’s care, trading life around the farm and walking trail for the safety and comforts of an indoor home.
Personality:
Jinty is a stunning little girl with a beautiful mix of calico and tabby markings, often referred to as a “torbie,” but her personality is every bit as special as her appearance. This girl is a true snugglebug queen who wants to be right beside her people, happily curling up with you in bed and sometimes even burrowing underneath the sheets for an extra-cozy cuddle. When she isn’t snuggling or enjoying a cat nap in the catio or a cozy bed, Jinty loves to play! Springs, fuzzy balls, toys that tweet like birds—you name it, she is ready to chase it. With her playful energy and love of feline companionship, Jinty would do best being adopted with another kitten or joining a home with a young, playful cat. Affectionate, fun-loving, and always ready for either playtime or cuddle time, Jinty is ready to be adopted into her forever home—one that will welcome her into the family and keep her safely indoors.
