Rescue:

Squeak appeared on the back deck of a retired couple whose home backs onto a community park
filled with lawns, trees, playgrounds, picnic areas, and tennis courts—a wonderful place for people,
but a lonely and uncertain place for an abandoned cat. Hungry and tired, Squeak began spending
time around their property and could often be spotted climbing the tree in their yard. The days had
been relatively warm, but temperatures dropped considerably at night, leaving him searching for
somewhere protected to sleep. When a terrifying storm swept through the area, Squeak took refuge
in the couple’s pool house to escape the worst of the weather. It was clear this friendly boy wasn’t
meant to be fending for himself outdoors, and arrangements were made for him to come into Pet
Patrol’s care, where he could finally have reliable food, warmth, and shelter

Personality:

Squeak is a wonderfully friendly boy who comes when called and thoroughly enjoys being around
both people and other cats. While living outside, he even made friends with a blackandwhite cat
who had also been left behind, showing just how much he values companionship. Squeak doesn’t
mind being picked up for short periods, but given the choice, he would much rather settle
comfortably into your lap and enjoy attention there. At the sanctuary, he has been having a
wonderful time discovering all the toys available to him and gets along nicely with the other cats.
Social, playful, affectionate, and happy to finally be part of the action, Squeak is ready to be
adopted into his forever home—one that will welcome him into the family and keep him safely
indoors.
