Rescue:

Sonny and Sammy were found in a small town about half an hour from the Pet Patrol sanctuary. A
woman woke one rainy morning to discover the pair huddled on her front porch, soaking wet,
shivering, and very hungry. She had never seen them before, but when she checked her security
camera, she saw the kittens running down the lane around 10 a.m., scampering up the porch steps
and settling close to the door in an attempt to escape the rain. Everything about their sudden
appearance suggested they had been abandoned nearby and left to fend for themselves.
Thankfully, they chose the right porch. The woman brought the cold, drenched kittens inside and
connected with a small local rescue, and before long Sonny and Sammy came into Pet Patrol’s
care, where they were finally warm, dry, and safe.

Personality:

Sonny and Sammy are a bonded pair of affectionate, playful boys who make the perfect partners in
kitten mischief. Sonny is the quieter of the two and likes a moment to take everything in, but he
warms up quickly and then it’s fullon kitten mode! He loves tunnels, springs, zoomies through the
house, and rolling around with Sammy. Sammy dives into life headfirst—a fearless little ball of
energy who loves zoomies, springs, wand toys, and playfighting with his brother. He is also
incredibly affectionate and has a wonderfully loud purr that makes it very clear how much he loves
his people. Both boys do well with other cats and dogs, but their favourite companion is each other.
Sonny and Sammy are ready to be adopted into their forever home together—one that will
welcome them into the family and keep them safely indoors.
