Rescue:
Unfortunately, life changes, and sometimes circumstances become incredibly difficult. Peanut
belonged to an older man who had worked hard all his life but became ill and was no longer able to
bring in the income he once had. Struggling to make ends meet, he could barely afford to feed his
cats and knew he could no longer provide Peanut with everything she needed. Although he had
intended to have her spayed, finances simply never allowed it. Wanting to do what was best for
Peanut despite how difficult it would be to say goodbye, he reached out to a small rescue in his
town and was referred to Pet Patrol. Peanut was clearly loved, and we know her absence will leave
a very real void in the life of the man who made the difficult decision to let her go.
Personality:
Peanut is a sweetnatured, gentle girl with a wonderfully easygoing approach to life. She adapted
well to her new surroundings and is happy to quietly observe everything happening around her,
whether she is keeping an eye on what her people are doing or watching the world outside. Peanut
has a playful, happygolucky side too, but one of her sweetest habits comes at bedtime—she is
known to crawl right underneath the covers with you and curl up for a cozy sleep. Gentle,
affectionate, curious, and adaptable, Peanut is ready to be adopted into her forever home—one
that will welcome her into the family and keep her safely indoors.
