Rescue:
Fancy’s mother, Felicity, came from a large 50acre farm property where several cottages housed
the family’s adult children. There were many cats living on the property, and the family was working
hard to have them spayed, neutered, or safely rehomed. Felicity had become a favourite of one of
the daughters, who noticed that the friendly young cat was very pregnant and took her into her
home so she would have a safe place to stay. Although Felicity was still allowed to come and go
outdoors, it was clear that her kittens could arrive at any moment. Knowing how quickly farm cat
populations can grow and wanting the best possible future for both Felicity and her babies, the
family reached out for help. Felicity came into Pet Patrol’s care before her kittens were born (later
named Fantasia, Fancy, Fazle, Frisco, and Flash), ensuring that she would have a warm, safe place
to raise her family and that her kittens would never have to face the challenges of outdoor life.
Personality:
Fancy is a beautiful little girl with gorgeous calico markings and all the sweetness to match. She
loves spending her days enjoying everything kittenhood has to offer, from playful adventures to
cozy naps when it’s finally time to recharge. Fancy especially loves the company of her sister
Fantasia, and the two beautiful calico girls make quite the pair! Feline companionship is important
to Fancy, so she would love to be adopted with one of her siblings—perhaps even Fantasia—or join
a home with another friendly kitty to play and cuddle with. Sweet, playful, and absolutely lovely,
Fancy is ready to be adopted into her forever home—one that will welcome her into the family and
keep her safely indoors.
