ADOPTION PROFILE

Castiel

Castiel

Castiel

Rescue:

Castiel and his siblings were born on a property just outside of a large city, where they lived
outdoors among a collection of brokendown cars with their Dad cat and two older siblings from a
previous litter. While their mother and two other female cats were allowed to live inside the house,
unfortunately that same comfort and safety was not extended to Castiel, his siblings, or the other
male cats on the property. Life outdoors was difficult, and there was not always enough food to go
around. Castiel and his siblings often went to sleep with hungry bellies and learned to compete and
fight with one another at mealtimes, never knowing when their next full meal might come.
Thankfully, help arrived and the kittens were safely trapped and brought into care, while their father
and older siblings found placements with other rescues. With regular meals, warm beds, and the
security of indoor life, Castiel is quickly learning that food will always be there and there is no
longer any need to compete for it. Most importantly, he will never be forced to live outdoors again.

Personality:

Castiel is a sweet, gentle boy with a playful side and an impressive talent for finding the strangest
places to take a nap. When he isn’t snoozing or soaking up the sunshine, Cas loves racing around
with his siblings, playing peekaboo with them in the kitty tunnel, watching cat TV, and settling in
for plenty of cuddles. He is becoming more confident every day, although he still looks to his
brothers and sisters for comfort and reassurance when he’s unsure. Treats are another favourite,
and Castiel accepts his snacks with so much enthusiasm that you may want to watch your fingers!
This little angel has so much love to give and would be happiest adopted with one of his siblings or
into a home with another friendly cat who can give him the companionship he loves. Castiel is
ready to be adopted into his forever home—one that will welcome him into the family and keep him
safely indoors.
