Rescue:

Livia’s journey began in the backyard of a family who had noticed a cat wandering through their
property during the spring. They didn’t think much of it until one day, while taking the lawnmower
out of the shed, they heard tiny squeaks coming from inside. Tucked safely away was a litter of
kittens. It quickly became clear that the mysterious cat was their mother, and the family immediately
began putting out food and fresh water for them. As the kittens grew, they turned the entire
backyard into their own playground, with the trampoline becoming their favourite place to bounce,
chase, and wrestle together. While searching for a rescue that could help, the family patiently
worked on socializing the kittens. Eventually, they set up a dog crate with food inside and gently
closed the door once the kittens wandered in. Livia was one of the first kittens safely rescued this
way, followed by her siblings and their devoted mother. Thanks to the family’s kindness and
determination, Livia is now safe in Pet Patrol’s care.

Personality:

Livia is a playful, affectionate little girl who is discovering more and more every day just how
wonderful people can be. She loves batting balls and toy mice around, proudly carrying her catches
away, and she’s quite the acrobat when a wand toy comes out—jumping and leaping through the
air with impressive enthusiasm! Livia is second only to her brother when it comes to greeting her
people at the door, often meowing or reaching out with a paw to make sure she gets some attention
too. When picked up, she leans into the affection, purrs constantly, and may even offer little kisses
or gentle nibbles. Treats are another sure way to win her over, and she never misses an opportunity
for a goodie! Livia also has a sweet nurturing side and is very particular about keeping herself tidy,
carefully washing her face and paws and even grooming her siblings. When she’s ready for some
quiet time, she enjoys watching the world from the window and is beginning to discover just how
nice lounging on the bed can be. Livia is ready to be adopted into her forever home—one that will
welcome her into the family and keep her safely indoors.
