ADOPTION PROFILE

Odie/Kai

Odie/Kai

Odie/Kai

Rescue:

Odie and Kai came into care from very different places. Odie came from a cattle farm that Pet
Patrol had helped before. Although the cats there were well cared for and accustomed to people,
the farmer knew little Odie would have an even brighter future as a cherished house cat. When he
arrived in our care, he settled in immediately, greeting everyone with his friendly personality and
making himself right at home from day one. Meanwhile, Kai was originally spotted with his mother
and a sibling by a couple living in a tourist town. In an area where stray cats are uncommon, they
knew they didn’t belong outside. Shortly after the initial sighting, Kai’s feline family disappeared,
leaving him completely alone. Determined to help, the couple began putting out food each day and
slowly earned his trust. One mealtime, they gently enticed him into a carrier and safely closed the
door behind him. Ever since, these two boys have been living the foster life together warm, loved,
and ready for the future.

Personality:

This bonded duo is a perfect example of opposites attract. Odie may be tiny, but he has a very big
personality. This sweetheart is always the first to greet you at the door, happily announcing your
arrival with his adorable voice while asking for pets, cuddles, or to be scooped up for kisses. He
loves being close to his people and will melt into your arms for a nap once he’s finished chasing
toys and burning off his kitten energy. Friendly, affectionate, and full of charm, he has never met a
stranger and is always ready to brighten your day with his loving nature. Meanwhile, Kai is a gentle
soul with a quiet nature. He may take a little time to settle into a new home, but once he knows
you’re a friend, he’ll greet you with an adorable big stretch before asking for pets and attention. Kai
enjoys being picked up and gently cuddled, purring contentedly as he soaks up the affection. When
he’s feeling playful, nothing beats his beloved spring toys, which can keep him entertained for
hours. Kai very much thrives on Odie’s confidence and follows his lead, making this pair perfect for
both highenergy fun and soft, cuddly downtime. Odie and Kai are ready to be adopted into a
forever home together. One that will welcome them into the family and keep them safely indoors.
