Rescue:
Jasper’s story began with the sound of tiny meows on a quiet summer morning. After recently
moving into their home, his rescuer stepped onto the back deck and was surprised to discover
several tiny kitten heads peeking up from beneath it. Unsure whether their mother was still caring
for them, she set up a camera and monitored the little family for several days. Their mother did
return at first, and every effort was made to gain her trust, but after she disappeared for more than
twelve hours and the nights began turning colder, it became clear the kittens needed help. By then,
Jasper and his siblings had started venturing out from beneath the deck, climbing onto it and
nibbling at the food left out for their mom. Jasper was gently scooped up and brought safely
indoors, where he quickly discovered that people weren’t so scary after all. Before long, he and his
siblings had settled into indoor life and were happily enjoying all the love, warmth, and attention
they had been missing. Now safe in Pet Patrol’s care, Jasper is ready to find the forever home he
deserves.
Personality:
Jasper is a handsome boy with a sleek, velvety coat and a personality that’s larger than life.
Extremely playful and full of energy, he’s often right in the middle of a wrestling match or tumble
session with his siblings and would enjoy having another funloving feline friend to share his
adventures with. Once he’s finally worn himself out, Jasper has the sweetest habit of burrowing
completely underneath blankets for a cozy nap. He’s also become quite the food enthusiast—even
though it took him a little longer to figure out solid meals, and you may still catch him adorably
suckling on a piece of kibble as he eats. Jasper isn’t shy about expressing himself either, especially
when he thinks mealtime isn’t happening quickly enough! Playful, quirky, and full of character,
Jasper is ready to be adopted into his forever home—one that will welcome him into the family and
keep him safely indoors.
