Rescue:
Asker came into Pet Patrol’s care after we received a call from a family living on a traditional farm
tucked away along a quiet gravel road. A long laneway led to two homes and several barns, where
a growing number of friendly cats had made the property their home. Although the family cared
deeply for the cats, they were concerned about the population continuing to grow and wanted to
make sure every cat had the opportunity to live a safe, healthy life. Two Pet Patrol volunteers
visited the farm and were delighted to find happy, social cats that were easy to pick up and handle.
They were healthy, brighteyed, free of colds, and in wonderful body condition—a true reflection of
how well they had been cared for. When Asker arrived at Pet Patrol, the first order of business was
filling a tiny tummy with a good meal before curling up for a long, peaceful nap. It didn’t take long
for Asker to settle in and embrace all the comforts of indoor life. Now safe in our care, Asker is
ready to find a loving forever home.
Personality:
Asker is a quiet little explorer who is perfectly content discovering the world at her own pace.
Independent without being aloof, she loves playing with toys and investigating her surroundings but
doesn’t need to be the centre of attention while she does it. When Asker decides it’s time for some
affection, she’ll happily seek out her people for a snuggle before heading off on her next little
adventure. She tends to look to bigger, more confident cats for guidance and enjoys having feline
friends around to show her the ropes. With her gentle nature and quiet curiosity, Asker is a sweet
companion who will continue to blossom as her confidence grows. Asker is ready to be adopted
into her forever home—one that will welcome her into the family and keep her safely indoors.
