Rescue:

Lux’s journey to Pet Patrol began in the backyard of a family who had occasionally noticed a cat
wandering through their property during the spring. Assuming she belonged to someone nearby,
they didn’t think much of it until one day, while taking the lawnmower out of the shed, they heard
tiny squeaks coming from inside. Tucked safely away was a litter of kittens. It quickly became clear
that the mysterious cat was their mother, and the family immediately began putting out food and
fresh water for them. As the kittens grew, they turned the entire backyard into their own playground,
with the trampoline becoming their favourite place to bounce, chase, and wrestle together. While
searching for a rescue that could help, the family patiently worked on socializing the kittens.
Eventually, they set up a dog crate with food inside and gently closed the door once the kittens
wandered in to eat. Lux proved a little trickier to catch and managed to avoid the crate, but he was
eventually safely picked up by hand. Thanks to the family’s kindness and determination, Lux is now
safe in Pet Patrol’s care, where he’s ready to find the forever home he deserves.

Personality:

Lux is the only boy in the litter, and he has quickly discovered one very important thing—people
bring snacks, and snacks are wonderful! It only took him a couple of days to realize humans were
his friends, and now he’s blossoming into a playful, affectionate little guy. Curious and outgoing, Lux
loves exploring, chasing toys, and keeping up with his sisters during their kitten adventures. Sweet,
friendly, and always ready to investigate what’s happening around him, Lux is sure to make a
wonderful companion. Lux is ready to be adopted into his forever home. One that will welcome him
into the family and keep him safely indoors.
