Rescue:
Monarch, Miso, and Macaroon came to Pet Patrol after a woman who runs a small cat rescue in a
nearby town learned about a litter of kittens living on a rural property filled with a variety of animals,
including horses, large dogs, and small dogs. The property owner, who lived alone and was
struggling to keep up with the aging home and property, had discovered that a mother cat had
given birth to kittens in the barn. Concerned about finding homes for them, she posted on social
media asking for help. By the time rescue arrangements were made, one kitten had already found a
home, leaving M trio still in need. The rescue volunteer stepped in and safely brought the kittens
into care. Although they were healthy overall, they were covered in fleas and had been at risk of
being given away to anyone willing to take them. Thanks to the intervention of rescue volunteers,
Monarch, Miso, and Macaroon were given the opportunity to grow up safe, healthy, and destined
for a carefully chosen forever home.
Personality:
Macaroon—better known as Mac, Mac Attack, or even Big Mac—is a largerthanlife kitten with an
equally big personality. Full of confidence and endless energy, he’s always on the move, whether
he’s racing up cat trees, chasing fish toys and balls across the floor, or challenging his siblings to
another round of playful wrestling. Macaroon is as playful as they come and never turns down a
game involving string toys or anything he can chase. Despite his adventurous side, he’s also an
incredibly affectionate boy who loves greeting everyone he meets and happily settles in for cuddles
once he’s tired himself out. Friendly, social, and always ready for his next adventure, Macaroon has
never met a stranger and would make a wonderful companion for a family looking for a funloving
indoor adventure buddy. Macaroon is ready to be adopted into his forever home. One that will
welcome him into the family and keep him safely indoors.
