Rescue:
Wriggley was lucky enough to be born indoors after his mama, Winnie, was rescued from a difficult
life outdoors. Winnie had spent months surviving on her own after losing access to the home where
she had once been allowed to stay. After making it through an entire winter outside, she was
discovered hiding in a cedar bush and brought into safety. It soon became clear that Winnie was
pregnant, and shortly after arriving in Pet Patrol’s care, she gave birth to Wriggley and his siblings.
Unlike their mother, Wriggley has never had to worry about finding food, staying warm, or hiding
from danger. Raised in the comfort of foster care alongside his siblings and devoted mama,
Wriggley has grown up healthy, safe, and ready to find a forever home of her own.
Personality:
Wriggley is a friendly, curious boy who likes to know exactly what’s happening around him. He
loves being near his people and is always ready to investigate a new toy, explore a new space, or
join in whatever fun is taking place. Playtime is one of his favourite activities, especially when it
involves chasing his siblings through tunnels, hiding in boxes, and launching surprise attacks
during games of hideandseek. He is comfortable being handled and enjoys spending time with
children. Once he has burned off some energy, Wriggley can usually be found snuggled up with his
sisters or stretched out on a welcoming lap. Playful, social, and affectionate, Wriggley will make a
wonderful companion. Wriggley is ready to be adopted into his forever home. One that will welcome
him into the family and keep him safely indoors.
