Rescue:
Calvin’s story began beneath a house where he had made a home amongst a cinderblock
foundation filled with clutter and debris. The property had become a gathering place for unowned
cats, who were allowed to come and go freely and, unfortunately, continue breeding. Life there was
not easy. Some kittens from the area never survived and were sadly found on nearby roads.
Thankfully, Calvin proved to be a clever little fellow and managed to stay safe while navigating the
dangers around him. Concerned neighbours knew he deserved a better future and contacted a
woman who helps with cat rescue in her small town. She quickly brought Calvin into her care,
ensuring he was finally safe and protected. Before long, he made his way to Pet Patrol, where he
settled in remarkably well. After surviving life outdoors, Calvin now has the chance to grow up
knowing warmth, comfort, and the love every kitten deserves.
Personality:
Calvin is a true gentleman with a heart full of love and a purr that starts before you’ve even touched
him. This sweet boy absolutely adores attention and will patiently wait for pets, happily soaking up
every bit of affection he can get. He loves curling up in a warm lap or being cradled in someone’s
arms, making him the perfect cuddle companion. Despite his snuggly nature, Calvin also has a
playful side and enjoys chasing balls, playing hideandseek, and wrestling with his adoptive
littermates. Gentle, affectionate, and wonderfully social, he has an easygoing personality that
makes him a joy to be around. Whether he’s curled up for a nap or bouncing around during
playtime, Calvin brings warmth, sweetness, and happiness wherever he goes. Calvin is ready to be
adopted into his forever home. One that will welcome him into the family and keep him safely
indoors.
