Rescue:

Emails asking for help arrive every single day, often from people facing heartbreaking decisions
during incredibly difficult times. That was the case for Lilly’s owner, who found herself losing her
housing and no longer able to live independently. As she prepared to move in with family, she was
devastated to learn that Lilly could not come with her. Lilly had been a beloved companion through
many of life’s ups and downs, and having to say goodbye was one of the hardest choices she ever
had to make. Knowing she could no longer provide the stable future Lilly deserved, she reached
out for help with the hope of finding her a safe, loving home where she would be cherished.
Although surrendering Lilly broke her heart, it was done entirely out of love and a desire to give her
the very best chance at a happy future.

Personality:

Lilly is an incredibly sweet and affectionate girl who was clearly very loved in her previous home.
She enjoys being picked up, cuddled, and spending time close to her people, whether that means
curling up on your lap or stretching out on the bed beside you. Lilly still has a wonderfully kitten ­like side and loves playtime just as much as snuggle time. If it dangles, bounces, rattles, or can be chased, Lilly is ready to investigate. Curious, loving, and full of personality, she brings the perfect balance of companionship and fun. Lilly is ready to be adopted into her forever home. One that will welcome her into the family and keep her safely indoors.
