ADOPTION PROFILE

Olson

Olson

Olson

Rescue:

Olson came from a quiet rural village surrounded by farmland and forests, where stray cats often
wander between properties searching for food and shelter. One of Pet Patrol’s volunteers
maintained feeding stations and insulated shelters in the area, hoping to help the many frightened
cats passing through. Olson began appearing regularly, cautiously stopping by for meals before
disappearing back into the countryside. Like so many rural cats, he was trying to survive on his own
amongst the dangers of wildlife, harsh weather, and busy country roads. Over time, the volunteer
patiently earned his trust and was finally able to bring him safely into Pet Patrol’s care. Now warm,
wellfed, and protected, Olson no longer has to worry about where his next meal will come from and
is beginning to discover the comforts and security of indoor life.

Personality:

Olson is an incredibly sweet, gentle boy with a heart as big as he is. Despite his solid, muscular
build, he is wonderfully affectionate and has one of the cutest ways of asking for attention — if you
hold out your hand, Olson will often stand up on his hind legs just to bunt his head into it for pets.
He loves affection and is easy to pick up and carry, happily accepting attention from the people he
trusts. Olson gets along well with other gentle cats and is thoroughly enjoying all the comforts of
indoor life after his time outdoors. One of the most heartwarming things to watch is him discovering
toys for the very first time, learning that life can be about fun and play as much as survival. Sweet,
easygoing, and full of love, Olson is the kind of cat who makes friends wherever he goes. Olson is
ready to be adopted into his forever home. One that will welcome him into the family and keep him
safely indoors.
