Tate

Rescue:

Tate’s family came to Pet Patrol after a woman who runs a small rescue in a remote town was
contacted by a couple who needed help caring for the growing number of cats on their rural
property. Over the years, they had opened their hearts to many stray cats, providing food, shelter,
and kindness to those who wandered onto their land. While some cats simply stopped by for a meal
before continuing on their way, others chose to stay. Eventually, there were simply too many cats
for the couple to manage on their own. Momma Taylor had a litter of kittens the previous fall, all of
whom found homes except for one daughter. By spring, both Taylor and her daughter had become
pregnant and gave birth just two days apart, resulting in nine kittens altogether. Concerned about
finding safe, loving homes for so many cats, the couple reached out for help. Taylor and her four
kittens Tate, Teagan, Thomas, and Trinity joined Pet Patrol’s care alongside the four kittens from
her daughter’s litter, while the family chose to keep Taylor’s daughter and ensured she was spayed.
Having been raised in a loving home, all of the cats arrived friendly, social, and comfortable being
handled, making the transition to foster care an easy one as they began searching for forever
homes of their own.

Personality:

Tate is a handsome little gray and white kitten with endless energy and a playful spirit that keeps
him constantly on the move. He especially loves spending time with his brother Thomas — often
teaming up with him for games, or mischievously stealing toys just to start another round of chase.
Tate is always ready for action, whether he’s racing around the room, weaving under and over
obstacles, or batting a ball across the floor like it’s the most exciting game in the world. When
playtime finally winds down, this sweet boy is quick to settle in for cozy naps and purrfilled cuddles,
recharging his energy for the next adventure. Tate would love to be adopted with his brother or one
of his sisters into a forever home that will keep him safe, loved, and happily indoors.
