Lorelai

Lorelai

Lorelai

Rescue:

Lorelai’s mama, Larissa, was first seen last fall visiting one of Pet Patrol’s volunteer feeding stations
set up for stray cats passing through the area. At first, Larissa was very nervous and would only
take a few bites before running away. She disappeared for a time and wasn’t seen again until
winter, when she returned and began meowing to the volunteer, though she was still too shy to
come close. Gradually, she started visiting more often, and it soon became clear she was pregnant.
The volunteer spent time talking gently to her and slowly earning her trust. Larissa began exploring
the insulated outdoor shelters, likely searching for a safe place to have her kittens. When the
volunteer finally reached out to pet her, Larissa gave a small hiss but did not run. It was clear she
remembered the kindness of people, and once she felt that touch again she allowed herself to be
carefully placed in a carrier and brought indoors so she could be safe and warm. Larissa spent
nearly two weeks settling into foster care before finally giving birth to four kittens, including little
Lorelai, safely inside the comfort of her foster home where they could grow up warm, loved, and
protected.

Personality:

Sweet Lorelai is impossible not to fall in love with. The only extra fluffy kitten in her litter, she has
the most adorable face and a personality to match. Lorelai is a perfect mix of playful chaos and
cuddly sweetness, spending her days zooming around the house with her siblings, climbing cat
trees, and getting into all kinds of kitten adventures. When she finally tires herself out, you’ll often
find her curled up in a cozy little ball or completely faceplanted in her favourite cat tree perch fast
asleep. Lorelai also has an incredible purr and absolutely loves snuggling up close for affection.
Full of charm, energy, and endless cuteness, she would love to be adopted alongside her sister
Lainey or join a home looking for a funloving, playful companion. Lorelai is ready to be adopted
into her forever home. One that will welcome her into the family and keep her safely indoors.
