Rescue:
Fluffy had been seen coming and going from a bush and forested area in the countryside for nearly
two years. Living in a remote location with coyotes and foxes nearby, his safety was always
uncertain. Food was left out for him, and while he would come to eat, it wasn’t always consistent,
and there were long stretches where he disappeared entirely. Each time he didn’t return, there was
worry about what may have happened to him. When he reappeared in the winter, he began visiting
the feeding station more regularly. Another cat who had been trapneuterreturned also came
around, and although there was some initial tension between them, things eventually settled.
Knowing the risks of outdoor life in such an area, it became clear that Fluffy deserved the chance
for something better. Arrangements were made to bring him into safety, where he no longer has to
face the uncertainty of life outdoors.
Personality:
Fluffy is a gentle, quiet boy who is slowly learning that the world can be safe and kind. After
spending so long outdoors, he’s still building his confidence, but every day he grows a little braver.
He loves the simple comforts of indoor life—cozy beds, warm spaces, and the company of other
cats. Fluffy has started to enjoy playing with toys and has formed sweet friendships with his kitty
companions at the sanctuary. While he’s still unsure about people, he is beginning to trust gentle,
patient interactions and will accept soft pets on his own terms. Fluffy isn’t a cat who will rush into
affection, but with time, consistency, and a calm environment, he will continue to blossom. He
would do best in a quiet, patient home that will let him adjust at his own pace. A friendly resident cat
could help him feel even more secure. Fluffy has come such a long way and has so much love to
give—he just needs someone willing to give him the time he deserves. Fluffy is ready to be adopted
into his forever home. One that will welcome him into the family and keep him safely indoors.
