Rescue:

On a cold, wet night a man heard the faint cries of a tiny kitten somewhere outside his home.
Worried for her safety, he searched with a flashlight under the shed, beneath the deck, and through
the shrubs, but she was so small that she could have been hiding anywhere. The cries continued
through the night, and although he couldn’t find her right away, he kept searching. When he
returned from work the next day, he finally spotted her tucked among a pile of wooden skids.
Petunia was barely five weeks old—far too young to be alone and unsure of where her mother or
siblings were. Several weeks later, while Petunia was already in Pet Patrol’s care, the rest of her
family was finally located. Momma Piper and four additional kittens Pancake, Paprika, Parsley,
and Popcorn were safely rescued. All are thriving and ready for the cozy, indoor life.

Personality:

Pancake is a sweet, gentle kitten who is beginning to build her confidence with people. She’s
starting to approach for soft, gentle pets and is becoming more comfortable being picked up and
carried, though she still enjoys taking a step back to quietly observe her surroundings. With her
calm and thoughtful nature, Pancake is the kind of kitten who will continue to blossom with a little
patience and love. Pancake is ready to be adopted into her forever home. One that will welcome
her into the family and keep her safely indoors.
