Zola

Rescue:

Pet Patrol received a message from a woman facing a difficult decision about her beloved cat, Zola.
Zola originally came from a family farm, where she may have been born in a barn but was being
kept inside the home when she was adopted as a kitten. She has since spent her life as a
cherished companion, growing into a sweet and affectionate cat. Unfortunately, due to a recent
change in living circumstances, her owner was required to sell her home and move in with family
members who already have a cat that does not get along with others. Despite doing everything she
could to make it work, it became clear the environment would not be suitable for Zola. Wanting the
very best for her, she made the difficult decision to seek a new home where Zola can feel safe,
comfortable, and loved once again.

Personality:

Zola is a lovely, affectionate girl who forms strong bonds with her people. She enjoys spending time
with her humans and will happily offer her love and companionship once she feels comfortable.
While she may be cautious around new people at first, she simply needs a little time and space to
build trust, after which her sweet and gentle personality truly shines. Zola has lived with a dog and
is comfortable around them, but she would do best as the only cat in the home. With patience and
understanding, she becomes a warm and devoted companion who will make a wonderful addition
to the right home. Zola is ready to be adopted into her forever home. One that will welcome her into
the family and keep her safely indoors.
