Rescue:
A woman who has helped with rescuing cats in the past, in her small village, was contacted by a
former neighbor. She was told about a mother cat that had been abandoned at the front of their
home, which was becoming far to common. Wanting to help her right away, they brought Solene
into their garage where she could be safe and sheltered. About a week after arriving, and a surprise
to them, she gave birth to three kittens. Before those kittens were fully grown, however, she went
into heat again and was briefly allowed outside. Soon after, she returned pregnant once more and
later had a second litter of seven kittens. The first litter included Smarties and Snickers. When
Solene and her newborns were rescued, Smarties and Snickers were found shortly after in the
same village. The entire extended family is now safe and warm and ready for the indoor life.
Personality:
Snickers is a friendly and curious boy who loves being part of whatever is going on around him.
He’s always ready for pets and happily rolls over for belly rubs, soaking up all the attention he can
get. Playtime is one of his favourite things—whether he’s hunting down a fuzzy toy, chasing a
mouse, or entertaining himself, he’s always on the move. Snickers comes when you call his name
and is very food motivated, often appearing the moment he hears a can open. He’s still learning
what it means to be picked up but is becoming more comfortable each day. With his goofy, playful
personality and affectionate nature, Snickers is always fun to watch and even better to spend time
with. Snickers is ready to be adopted into his forever home. One that will welcome him into the
family and keep him safely indoors.
