Rescue:
Raven appeared unexpectedly on a country property just on the edge of the city, where farmland
meets a quiet culdesac. From the moment she arrived, she showed a gentle curiosity, often
following the homeowner as she worked in the garden and quietly observing everything around her
—including the chickens, whom she never bothered. Though a little tentative about being picked
up, Raven accepted pets and slowly began to show her friendly nature. When she was brought into
care, it was discovered that she had a microchip indicating she had previously been part of a trapneuterreturn program from a nearby farm. When the property owner was contacted, they were not
surprised, as the farm had many cats and limited resources to manage them. They were happy to
see Raven given the opportunity to find a safe, loving home through Pet Patrol.
Personality:
Raven is a sweet and shy girl with the gentlest personality. She takes a little time to warm up to
new people, but once she feels safe, she truly melts into your hands and happily asks for more pets
and cuddles. While treats can help coax her out, it’s really affection that she’s after. Raven enjoys
watching the birds from the window and is still learning how to play with toys, showing her curious
and brave side as she continues to grow more confident. She likes being near her people but also
appreciates having her own space when she needs it, making her a lovely, lowkey companion.
Raven is ready to be adopted into her forever home. One that will welcome her into the family and
keep her safely indoors.
