Hi… my name is Brinley. 🐾
I’m one of Betty’s tiny babies.
Not long ago, my mom kept me and my siblings safe outside, tucked away from the cold and the wind. It wasn’t easy, but she did everything she could to protect us. Then one day, everything changed — we were brought somewhere warm, safe, and full of kind people.
I thought that meant the scary part was over.
But then… I got really, really sick.
One moment I was just a tiny kitten learning to eat and grow… and the next, I didn’t want food at all. I felt weak. My body started to shut down. I was vomiting, and I didn’t have the strength to fight the way I should have.
Kittens like me are so small… and we can crash so fast.
The humans knew something was very wrong. They rushed me to the vet, where I had to stay for a day and a half on IV fluids to keep me alive. I’m so little — I weighed less than a pound — but my body needed so much help.
It was scary. I didn’t understand what was happening… I just felt tired.
But the good news is… I’m still here.
I’m slowly getting stronger. I’m starting to eat again. My little body is fighting, and the humans say I’m on the road to recovery.
All of that care added up to $1300 — for a kitten as tiny as me.
Pet Patrol didn’t hesitate. They said yes to saving me, even when it was expensive, even when it was uncertain.
If you’re able to donate or share my story, you’re helping kittens like me get a chance to grow up — to play, to purr, to live the life my mom tried so hard to give me.
I’m still very small…
But I’m also very strong.
And I’m not giving up.
With tiny purrs and a hopeful heart,
Brinley 💙🐱
