Rescue:
Pet Patrol was contacted by a woman who independently rescues cats and then seeks
organizations to help rehome them. She explained that an elderly woman, 93 years old and living
on a farm, had cats on the property who needed safe placements. The cats had very little shelter,
relying mainly on the porch and the space beneath it for protection from the elements. Wanting to
ensure they had a safer future, arrangements were made for Tori & Tom to come into Pet Patrol’s
care. Once they arrived, it was clear they were friendly cats who simply needed the chance for a
better life indoors. Now safe and well cared for, Tori & Tom are ready to find loving homes where
they can finally enjoy the comfort and security they deserve.
Personality:
Tori and Tom are a wonderfully balanced, bonded pair who bring out the best in each other. Tori is
the quieter of the two—a calm, observant girl who likes to take her time getting to know people and
watch the world from a comfortable spot. While she may not rush up for attention, she enjoys gentle
pets once she feels safe and has the sweetest little squeaky chatter when she’s with Tom, often
rubbing against him affectionately. Tom, on the other hand, is everyone’s best friend. This big, goofy
boy greets people with happy squeaks and loud purrs, always ready for pets, attention, and maybe
a snack or two. He loves to play with wand toys and anything that moves, while Tori prefers batting
around a ball or small toy on her own. Together they are inseparable—cuddling, playing, and
keeping each other company throughout the day, with Tom helping give Tori confidence and
comfort in new environments. Tori and Tom are ready to be adopted into their forever home. One
that will welcome them into the family and keep them safely indoors.
