Ulani

Rescue:

A kind young man from a rural town reached out to Pet Patrol after finding a tiny kitten crying in his
backyard garden. The little one had been hiding under the back porch during a stretch of cold,
windy, rainy weather, and was clearly in need of help. The next day, the young man was able to
rescue her and, since the kitten wasn’t allowed inside his family’s home, he kept her safe and warm
in his car until a plan could be made. Though he would have loved to keep the kitten himself, he
knew she needed to find help, and even posted online to see if anyone in the community was
missing her—no one came forward. Friendly, clean, and a healthy weight, little Ulani had clearly
been around people before and was lucky to have been found by someone so compassionate.
Thanks to her rescuer’s kindness and quick action, dhe was brought into Pet Patrol’s care where
she could have the security, love, and bright future she deserved.

Personality:

Ulani is a big personality in a small, adorable package! This extremely chatty girl always has
something to say and happily carries on little conversations with her people, her toys, and
sometimes just herself. She absolutely loves ball toys and strings and has been known to play fetch
with her favourite ball or proudly drag a string toy around the house—even if it’s still attached to
something! Ulani enjoys having a safe space where she can retreat when she wants some quiet
time, but she still loves her people so much that she’ll call them over so she doesn’t have to be
alone. She’s great at entertaining herself and is perfectly happy playing independently. While she
isn’t quite a lap cat, she’s definitely “cuddly adjacent” and loves being close by, settling within arm’s
reach once she finds the perfect cozy spot. Ulani would likely be happiest as the only cat in the
home, where she can be the star of the show and keep everyone entertained with her playful spirit
and endless chatter. Ulani is ready to be adopted into her forever home. One that will welcome her
into the family and keep her safely indoors.
