Rescue:
Pet Patrol received a message from a caseworker who was helping one of her clients rehome
several cats. The home was located in a busy area of townhouses and apartment buildings, and
while the cats were gently handled by children and accustomed to living with other cats, there were
simply too many. What initially sounded like a small group in need turned out to be a lovely mother
cat, Kailani, and her teenage kittens—Kaipo, Kiola, and Kielee. To prevent any further litters, the
family had been responsibly separated to the basement, away from an unneutered male cat in the
home. While this was a thoughtful step, it meant they were missing out on the interaction and
enrichment of a full household. When they arrived in Pet Patrol’s care, they quickly showed just
how sweet, gentle, and friendly they are, ready to experience a more enriched life and find loving
homes of their own.
Personality:
Keola is a sweet and gentle girl with a calm, mellow nature. She may be a little shy at first, but with
just a few days of patience, she begins to enjoy pets and even being picked up. She often finds
comfort tucked in beside her siblings, showing her soft and affectionate side. Keola enjoys quietly
observing what’s going on around her and takes everything in with a curious, thoughtful approach.
She is just starting to discover the fun of toys like the ball tower and wand toys, and her playful side
is beginning to shine. When it’s time to rest, Keola loves curling up on cozy cushions, perching on
the cat tree, or settling into small, snug spaces. Keola is ready to be adopted into her forever home.
One that will welcome her into the family and keep her safely indoors.
