Hi… it’s me again, Maxwell. 🐾
I wanted to say thank you.
My dental surgery is finished, and the vet discovered something important… I was actually in a lot more pain than anyone realized. In the end, they had to remove seven small teeth and four big ones to help my mouth heal properly.
Cats are very good at hiding pain. It’s something we learn from the animal kingdom — if you show weakness, you might not survive. And since I spent time living on the streets, I became very good at pretending everything was okay… even when it really wasn’t.
But now? Everything feels different.
My mouth doesn’t hurt the way it used to. I can eat comfortably, and I feel lighter, happier, and more energetic. The people caring for me say I’m my happy, go-lucky self, and I’m responding more and more to their love and attention every day.
Because of your kindness, I’m healing. Because of you, I have the chance to feel good again.
Thank you for helping me get the care I needed and for believing in me. I’m looking forward to a happy, healthy future filled with good meals, warm beds, and lots of purring.
With grateful purrs,
Maxwell 💛🐱
