I have the happiest news to share.
First, I want to say thank you. Because of your kindness, I got the vet care, medicine, and tests I needed to start feeling like myself again. My breathing is so much better, I’m gaining weight, and I finally feel warm, comfortable, and safe. I spend my days doing what I love most — snuggling with the humans, soaking up attention, and purring as loudly as my little body will allow.
And now the very best news…
Someone came to meet my foster bestie Luna. They thought Luna was wonderful (which she is)… but then they met me. And they decided something very important: they couldn’t separate us.
So now we’re both going home together. 🐾💕
I get to stay with my friend, and we both get a forever family who will love us, spoil us, and keep us safe for the rest of our lives. After everything, I get to feel what true unconditional love is like every single day.
Life could not be sweeter.
Thank you for helping me heal, for believing in me, and for giving me the chance to find my forever home — with my best friend right beside me.

Hi… I’m Sweet Pea. 🌸🐾
I’m a fluffy little tortoiseshell girl, and I really, really like people.
When the man found me, I was tucked into loose straw on the floor of his shed. It was very cold. The wind was loud and scary, and the snow kept blowing in. I was skinny and tired, but when I saw him, I didn’t hide. I sat up and reached toward him.
Because I remember what it feels like to be loved… and I was hoping someone would love me again.
When I came to Pet Patrol, the nice humans noticed I wasn’t just thin — I was congested and struggling to breathe properly. I was stuffy, uncomfortable, and my sinuses were impacted. If infection had spread or gone untreated, it would have increased my chances of not surviving.
I needed vet visits, medication, and a culture to make sure I would get the correct treatment right away. Breathing should not be hard. Eating should not be hard. Being warm should not be rare.
Now when the humans hold me I press into them with my whole body like I’m trying to say thank you every second.
But vet care, testing, and medication are expensive — especially for a little girl who needs so much right away.
