ADOPTION PROFILE

Iris

Iris

Iris

Rescue:

In the sweltering heat of summer, a tiny kitten was discovered alone along a country walking trail,
hidden in the tall grass and clearly exhausted. With country homes nearby, it’s likely Iris wandered
too far and lost her way. At just six weeks old, she was dangerously underweight and completely
worn out, yet still full of fight. When offered food, she ate eagerly—especially the soft cat food ,
which was easier for her tiny mouth to manage. Though she was clearly struggling, her spirit shone
through. Feisty, curious, and determined, Iris showed immediate interest in her new surroundings,
and despite her rough start, she proved to be incredibly sweet. It was clear she had been doing her
best to survive alone, and thanks to the caring person who found her, Iris is now safe in Pet Patrol’s
care and on her way to a better life.

Personality:

Don’t let her size fool you—Iris is tiny but fierce! This one eyed
warrior kitten has no problem taking on bigger cats, stalking vacuums, or wrestling her foster siblings with determination. If she feels caught off guard, she’ll let out a vocal protest as if to say, “Hey, I wasn’t ready!” Her missing eye
doesn’t slow her down one bit, though she sometimes calls for help when she’s unsure about a
jump. Iris has a big appetite for wet food, loves to play, and enjoys being held once she feels
secure in your arms. With her brave spirit and affectionate heart, she’s impossible not to love. Iris is
ready to be adopted into her forever home. One that will welcome her into the family and keep her
safely indoors.
