Rescue:
Marigold’s journey to Pet Patrol began when a small local rescue noticed her wandering outside
their home. It was clear right away that she wasn’t well — her eyes were infected, she was thin,
and she struggled with an upper respiratory illness. Despite her fragile state, no one seemed to
know where she had come from or who she belonged to. Wanting to help but unable to provide the
veterinary care Marigold urgently needed, the small rescue reached out to Pet Patrol for support.
Soon after, Marigold was brought into Pet Patrol’s care, where she could finally receive the medical
attention, nourishment, and safe shelter she required. Thanks to the collaboration between rescues
and the compassion of those who refused to leave her behind, Marigold was given a second
chance at health and happiness.
Personality:
Marigold is a gentle soul who wants nothing more than to be loved. From the moment you walk into
the room, she leans in with head bumps, asking for affection and soaking up every bit of attention
she can get. Sweet and trusting, she has a way of making you feel special just by the way she
looks at you, quietly hoping for another cuddle. Volunteers often find themselves pausing their tasks
just to spend extra time with Marigold, because her soft nature is so endearing. She isn’t
demanding, but her affectionate nudges and gentle presence make it clear that love and
companionship mean everything to her. Marigold will thrive with a family who will give her endless
cuddles and affection. Like all Pet Patrol cats, Marigold is looking for a forever home where she will loved and kept safely indoors.
