Rosie

Rosie

Rosie

Rescue:

Rosie was left behind, but never truly forgotten. A woman working the fields of her family’s farm
saw a car pull around to the back of the house and stop. By the time she got there, the vehicle had
sped away, leaving behind a carrier, a bag of food, bowls, toys, a litter box, and a folded note that
simply read: “Her name is Rosie. She is female. She is a house cat. She is friendly. I am sorry.”
There’s no knowing what led to that moment, only that Rosie had been loved by someone who
was clearly out of options. Why they went to the back door, we don’t know. Perhaps they hoped the
farmer would understand. She did. Though her barn already had its share of cats, she knew Rosie
didn’t belong among them. This girl was affectionate, sweet, and indoor ready.
She needed a family
home , not an outdoor life. So she reached out to us. Now, Rosie is safe at Pet Patrol, snuggled in
warm blankets, her little world no longer full of confusion and fear. We promised her a second
chance, and we can’t wait to see her future begin.

Personality:

Rosie is a gentle sweetheart with a cuddly, affectionate nature. She loves to be close to her people;
especially at bedtime, when she’ll snuggle right in beside you and softly purr with her signature
little squeaks. When you pet her, she rubs her head into your hand, clearly soaking up every bit of
love. Rosie is also a thoughtful explorer. In new spaces, she’ll quietly assess the scene from a
distance before bravely venturing out with careful curiosity. She loves chasing after felt mice and
feather wands, showing her playful side once she feels safe and comfortable. This lovely girl is soft,
soulful, and full of heart; she just wants someone to share her cozy world with. Rosie is ready to
be adopted into her forever home. One that will welcome her into the family and keep her safely
indoors.
