Rescue:
Ohana and Oriana’s journey began when they were rescued from an online ad by a well meaning
person who wanted to ensure they had a safe future. Their previous owners were facing
homelessness, and without intervention, the sisters’ fate was unknown. Determined to help, their
rescuer took them in, planning to care for them until they could find a permanent home. For
months, they were given love, warmth, and safety. However, this temporary housing was not
desirable either. The people were struggling with depression and their home, reflected that with
clutter, filth, and darkness. As time went on, it became clear that keeping them long term was no
longer an option. Wanting to do what was best, their caregiver reached out to Pet Patrol for help.
Now at the sanctuary, Oriana and Ohana are adjusting well. These sweet sisters are now looking
for a forever home where they will always be loved and never face uncertainty again.
Personality:
Ohana is such a sweet girl. She, like her sister, was nicknamed the little ballerina because of her
long, slim, and elegant frame. Ohana is extra friendly and wants nothing more than to be held, she
loves being carried around by her favorite humans. Snuggles are required! When she’s ready for
attention, she’ll give you a little nudge to let you know. Ohana is also still quite play driven.
She has tested every toy the sanctuary has to offer. She’s climbed every tower, looked out every window,
darted through every tunnel, and chased other kittens around in circles hundreds of times! It’s her
own version of the Indy 500. Ohana is vey grateful to be rescued and is ready to be adopted into
her forever home, one
that will welcome her into the family and keep her safely indoors.
