Rescue:
Quiggley’s story began on a quiet rural road where, years ago, Pet Patrol worked with a concerned
woman to bring her barn cat population under control. All the cats were spayed and neutered in a
coordinated effort to ensure they could live healthy, happy lives without the strain of constant litters.
For years, the barn remained peaceful, with no new cats appearing—until Quiggley. This charming
orange boy had been seen roaming the area for quite some time, his gentle presence making him a
local favorite. Though no one knew exactly where he came from, it was clear he had been living on
his own, relying on his wits to survive. When Quiggley finally made his way to the barn, the woman
welcomed him. Recognizing that he needed more care and a chance for a better life, she reached
out to Pet Patrol once again. Now in our care, Quiggley is ready to leave his life of uncertainty behind and find a forever home where he’ll be loved and cherished.
Personality:
Quiggley has truly blossomed since arriving at the sanctuary. When he first came into care, the
world felt big and overwhelming – he would often hide in the corner of his cage and sometimes
even struggled to eat. But even in those early days, Quiggley always showed a friendly, calm
nature. He accepted gentle pets from volunteers, knowing deep down he was finally safe and just
needed time to settle in. Now that he has free rein of the sanctuary, Quiggley enjoys exploring and
especially loves perching up high to keep a watchful eye on everything around him. With a soft
approach, he melts right into head scritches and chin rubs, purring contentedly. Quiggley is a social
boy when it comes to his feline companions – he’s often found curled up in the middle of a cuddle
pile, perfectly content surrounded by other cats. With continued love and patience, Quiggley will
thrive in a calm and understanding home. He is ready to be adopted into his forever home – one
that will welcome him into the family and keep him safely indoors.
