Rescue:

In late spring, a mama cat and her kittens were spotted living under a side yard shed in the middle
of the city. Once noticed, the family next door started leaving food out for them. Soon, the mama cat
—now named Jube Jube—began spending more time in their yard. As the kittens grew, the family
became concerned for their well being. Without being touched by people, they would become wild,
start breeding, become prey, or subjected to our freezing winter weather. When Jube Jube would
come to eat, she would stand at the far end of the deck and call to her kittens. They’d come trotting
up from their hiding spot to dine while she watched over them. This now content mother cat quickly
grew fond of the family, often meowing for attention and asking for pets when they were outside.
She even began spending nights on the mat at their back deck, waiting to greet them each morning
for breakfast. The family contacted Pet Patrol to ensure Jube Jube and her five kittens would be
safe. They were brought inside to be fostered and well cared for.

Personality:

Croissant is a sweet, easygoing kitten who has adjusted well being indoors.
She will join in on any wrestling match and give it her all. Croissant loves chasing balls, but her favourite is carrying the springs around in her mouth. She can be found tumbling or snuggling with Jelly Bean, and
when she is tired of that, she will find your lap and cuddle right in. She is quite the talker while cuddled on your lap and the sweetest is when she reaches up to touch your cheek.
Jelly Bean is a playful and cuddly kitten who loves to greet visitors at the door. With his silky fur, he
loves belly rubs and will happily flop down for more. He’s always up for a game of chasing the laser light and trying to pick up that red dot. The tunnel is his favourite to run through over and over. When it’s time to relax, he’ll snuggle in for a well deserved nap. This
duo is ready to be adopted into his forever home, where they will be loved and kept safely indoors.
